Supporting Coffee Research
Barrie House participates in World Coffee Research’s Checkoff Program as a way to invest “pennies per pound” to ensure the future of coffee. As part of the program, Barrie House pays a premium for coffee we purchase which goes directly to World Coffee Research to support agricultural research and development. Research is an essential basis for improving the “goodness” of coffee: how good it tastes, how good it is for the planet, and how good it is for people who grow it. Barrie House is happy and proud to be supporting the future of coffee.
